Our Responsibility

We can’t do everything, but we can do something. Here is a sneak peek into the work that we do. We are always looking for better solutions, so for us, this is a part of our work that never ends.

Small is the New Big

In a world that feels so fast-paced, POW believes in staying small and growing slowly. It's important to us that you know who's making the products you buy, and we take great pride in our earrings being hand-assembled locally in Malmö.

Plastic Fantastic?

The vinyl we use in our earrings is a lightweight, high-tech plastic originally produced in Germany—and we love the unique look and feel it gives our earrings!

However, we know that plastic has its environmental downsides, and since the beginning, we have done our best to find alternative materials.

We tried colored paper, as well as eco-friendly plastic, but unfortunately, nothing else has been able to support our current quality and design requirements.

At the moment, there is no perfect solution—but we’re always talking to our suppliers about newer, more sustainable alternatives.

Do you know someone creating a better alternative to vinyl? Or are you that person? Get in touch with us, we would love to connect!

Collaborations

We love collaborations, and we are always looking for the next person to collab with. We believe that we are stronger together. No one can know it all, but we can thrive from each others knowledge and together create even more amazing things.

Our first ever collaboration was with Gotland Garbage where we created a hoop out of plastic waste, the REHOOP.

Are you our next collaboration partner?

We believe that we are stronger together, so let’s blend our creative minds and create something incredible together.

Progress not perfection

Like the rest of our society, the fashion industry is far from sustainable. Addressing this super complex issue is going to take more than one solution—and we believe nuanced perspectives are key.

No single company, product, or individual is perfect. But things have to be done better, and we feel the best way forward is to focus on progress, not perfection.

So go on and buy things you truly love! Wear them with care—and pass them on when they stop sparking you joy!
